Happy Sunday Ppals!

I hope you are all staying cool. I think Snoopy has the right idea.

It was hot yesterday and I was outside most of the day leading the games at Vacation Bible Camp. They changed it this up this year and we did the equivalent of 3 evenings of VBC all on Saturday.

Fortunately I was only outside for 1 hour at a time and then we had breaks for worship in the church, snacks and lunch.

The teen leaders that I worked with were great with the kids and helped to keep them focused and interested in the games. I was surprised when I asked the first group of the last session if they wanted a high energy or a lower energy game and they all shouted high energy. Our high energy option was handball and I was surprised again to learn that the teen leaders knew how to play. Great! Please lead. I had just learned how to play by watching youtube. So when the next group came through games was I ready to explain when that group of teen leaders didn't know how to play handball.

Today I am in recovery mode. I am still figuring out what workout I want to do today. There will be coffee with a friend.
