2) Workouts! Whatāll it be today? I moved the scheduled LB workout for Simply Strong to tomorrow, because yesterday I got another frigginā migraine (Iāve had about a week of poor sleep, so I think that - plus intense kickboxing the night before - is the culprit). Hopefully I can go for a walk today. What will you be doing?
3) Food? You all know what we eat on Thursdays, so forget about my my menu and tell me about yours!
4) NSV, that doesnāt quite feel victorious just yet. Iām done weaning off of my anti-anxiety meds! Itās taken about five months, and while Iām happy to be off of them, honestly, Iām scared the anxiety will come back. Also, I kinda feel like crap, hence not feeling victorious just yet. Thereās so much going on in my body as my brain adjusts to not having synthetic serotonin. I think thatās the reason Iām not sleeping well/Iām generally fatigued/more frequent migraines/vision changes, plus several other symptoms. I have hope that it will get better, and Iām learning to enjoy life and show up even when I donāt feel so great, but itās hard, and often frustrating. But yesterday a friend told me I was brave, and that even if anxiety returned and I needed medication again, all of this hard work was still worthwhile and a victory because it showed me what I was made of. So thatās how Iām choosing to look at it. And if I hadnāt given up sugar for June, I would have made a cake to celebrate! š
