Daily Check-in ANG: Wednesday, April 23rd

Hi peeps,

You know, I've been sitting here for 5 mins, staring out of the window at the pissing (excuse my language) rain, thinking how to open this check-in, but I guess by typing it I've opened it..πŸ™„ I'm in a weird mood today, I'm feeling good no problem there, it's just that I've got this feeling something's about to happen and I can't put my finger on it. Oh well, how's that expression... Que sera, sera..

So, what's on your calendars for today? Mass-ing it out, getting back into running rhythm, stepping it out with GK on your hip? Or are you just having a nice, well deserved rest day?

I've got my workout done for today and I picked another new to me, an upper body barre by Erica with super light weights. I even used canned mushrooms because the lightest weights I've got is 1kg (2.2lbs). The heaviest I used was 2kg (4.4lbs) and I still felt it, must've been all them pulses.😜

Yesterday late afternoon we had to go on a chick chase. We've got mom and her little ones in an small type of green house during the day as they can't go in the chicken coop yet. When I went outside to look for eggsies, one of the chickies had somehow escaped and was sitting on top of the green house. When it saw me, it got startled (totally normal, I'd get startled too upon seeing meπŸ˜†) and it ran off. Djeez them things are quick, the frigging thing even escaped to Vincents garden! Fortunately we managed to capture the little Usain Bolt! So today we're assembling a separate little coop for the chickies, which is totally necessary as we've got another hen that's got young'ns, 6 so far.

Aaand, I'm rambling again.

Let's quickly get to dinner before I bore you all to death. I can be short there.. no idea.

Okay, I'm outta here, gonna wolf down my breakfast and read a bit before hubs wakes up.
